Stellenbosch University Redress Tour

This circular walking tour starts and ends at the Visit Stellenbosch tourism centre in the historical heart of Stellenbosch. From here guests walk through the tree lined streets of the town, as it seamlessly merges with the university campus. Explore the history of the visual symbols on campus and learn more about the changes and additions made in an attempt to right the wrongs of previous powers. The Stellenbosch University Redress Project includes the removing of hurtful symbols and reminders of social injustice. The project aims to bring compensation through the addition of new visual symbols, making the campus a more inclusive environment.
